# Cloning sequences to other workspaces

You can clone a [sequence](/docs/automation/sequences) to other workspaces you have access to. The cloned sequence is an independent object in the target workspace. This lets you reuse the same node patterns across brands or markets without rebuilding them manually. You can also build and test a sequence in a test workspace and then clone it to production.

Before cloning sequences to other workspaces, we recommend reading the [Introduction to cloning](/docs/settings/workspace/cloning-objects/introduction-to-cloning) article.

## Cloning options
---
For sequences of the Structure type, there is no option to select the cloning type.
For sequences of the Configured type, you select what to clone:

| Option | What is cloned |
|---|---|
| **Complete sequence** | The sequence with the configuration of all nodes. Objects used in the node settings are cloned or mapped in the same way as when [cloning a workflow](/docs/settings/workspace/cloning-objects/cloning-workflows#cloned-elements). |
| **Nodes structure** | Only the nodes and the links between them, without the node configuration. In the target workspace, the sequence is saved as the **Structure** type. |

## Prerequisites
---

The prerequisites are the same as for [cloning workflows](/docs/settings/workspace/cloning-objects/cloning-workflows#prerequisites).

## Cloning a sequence
---

1. Go to <img src="/api/docs/image/e0ca8b441050ad1b47bbfaa784e468987eaab75d/icons/automation-hub-icon.svg" alt="Automation Hub icon" class="icon"> **Automation Hub > Sequences**.
2. Find the sequence you want to clone.
3. Click <img src="/api/docs/image/e0ca8b441050ad1b47bbfaa784e468987eaab75d/icons/threedoticon.svg" alt="Three-dot icon" class="icon"> next to the sequence and select **Clone to workspace**.
4. If the sequence is of the **Configured** type, on the **Cloning details** pop-up:
    1. Select the [cloning option](#cloning-options).
    2. Click **Next**.

**Result**: The **Choose destination** pop-up opens.
5. Select up to 5 workspaces to which you want to clone the sequence.
6. Click **Apply**.
**Result**: The **Clone to workspaces** page opens.
7. In the **Clone sequence** section, check the target workspaces. To change them, click the pencil icon.
To see the objects that will be cloned together with the sequence, hover over the information icon next to the number of dependencies.
8. In the **Cloning details** section, resolve conflicts and map objects to their equivalents in the target workspaces. The process is the same as for workflows. For details, see [Cloning](/docs/settings/workspace/cloning-objects/cloning-workflows#cloning) and [Resolving cloning issues](/docs/settings/workspace/cloning-objects/cloning-workflows#resolving-cloning-issues).
9. Optionally, to review the changes cloning will make, click **Summary**.
10. Click **Clone**.
**Result**: The sequence is available in **Automation Hub > Sequences** in the target workspaces, with the same name as in the source workspace.
