## Configuring candidates

We begin with creating [regular promotions](/loyalty/lesson-4/type) that will be candidates for personalized promotions. Then, the AI engine sorts this list in real time from most interesting to least interesting, selecting the top items according to the business configuration - the number of slots, filters, and availability. 


## Promotions management

On the list of personalized promotions in the Synerise platform, you can activate, edit, duplicate, and delete personalized promotion campaigns.

## Distributing and displaying personalized promotions
---

Personalized promotions can be displayed in many channels such as digital signage in your point of sales, in mobile application, and website and they can be distributed at a given time of a customer journey.
- You can distribute them [on check in, check out, or on a mobile application](/docs/ai-hub/personalized-promotions/introduction-to-ai-promotions#distributing-promotions)
- You can [display them using API or through the Documents feature](/docs/ai-hub/personalized-promotions/introduction-to-ai-promotions#displaying-promotions)

The promotion can be the same for all channels or different, depending on the business decision and the availability of promotions in a particular channel.
